Description
The tour starts at a scheduled time and location in Fátima. If you’re not in Fátima you can request a transfer from our team. We will wander in this beautiful capital of the north of the country, visiting the famous Luis I Bridge, built between 1881 and 1888, connecting the cities of Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia, visiting the Church and Tower of the Clerics, classified as a National Monument since 1910, and we will also visit the Cathedral of Porto. Afterward, we’ll find ourselves in the São Bento Station, built at the beginning of the 20th century in the precise place where the Convent of São Bento de Avé-Maria existed. The lobby is lined with twenty thousand historical tiles, by the painter Jorge Colaço, illustrating the evolution of the transports and scenes of the Portuguese history.
