Description
The tour starts in one of the most beautiful and famous cities in Europe, Porto. This is the perfect place to take a walking tour of the city and enjoy the Luis I Bridge and the Douro River that both create this extremely charming landscape.
On the second day, we’ll visit the “origin cities” of Portugal, where we’ll encounter the great Bom Jesus Sanctuary in Braga and the Guimarães Castle, a very important location and the reason being is that this was the place where the administrative center of the Portucalense County was established by D. Afonso Henriques, the 1st King of Portugal!
On the next day, we’ll travel to Aveiro, known as the “Venice of Portugal” and we’re also going to visit the “Students City” of Portugal and the whole European Union, by name of Coimbra.
Finally, we finish our tour in Fátima, one of the most important places in the Catholic world, where you’ll have the chance to experience the beautiful energy of this city and the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fátima, and further visit the homes in Aljustrel, a nearby village where the three shepherds that witnessed the appearance of Our Lady Mary used to live.
