Love Portugal is a tour that will take us to the best most important and most beautiful cities and monuments of Portugal! Starting in Lisbon, we’ll visit the monuments of the “Discoveries Period” like the Belém Tower and the Jerónimos Monastery.
In Sintra and Cabo da Roca, we’ll have the chance to witness the best landscapes of Portugal, as well as the infamous Pena Palace and numerous other monuments. We’ll travel to the most important sites linked to the Catholic Church such as the Sanctuary of Our Lady in Fátima, Monasteries of Batalha and Alcobaça, and we’ll also enjoy the most famous beach in Portugal, called Nazaré, where the power of the giant waves coming from the Atlantic Ocean will give you the most satisfying goosebumps.
We will learn the extended history of the Convent of Christ in Tomar and on the same day visit the Mira d’Aire Caves, which are the biggest and the most stunning caves of entire Portugal.
As our last days of the “Love Portugal” tour, we’ll visit the famous city of Porto, oftentimes considered as the most beautiful city of Europe and finishing with a journey to the “origin cities” of Portugal, where we’ll encounter the great Bom Jesus Sanctuary in Braga and the Guimarães Castle, a very important location and the reason being is that this was the place where the administrative center of the Portucalense County was established by D. Afonso Henriques, the 1st King of Portugal!
