Description
The tour will start in the beautiful capital of Portugal, Lisbon. Here we’ll visit its historical monuments linked to the period of the Discoveries, such places as the Belém Tower, the Monument of the Discoveries, the great Jerónimos Monastery, the Marquês de Pombal Square, and the Rossio. Finishing the day with a trip to Fátima where you will stay.
The second day will be marked with a visit to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fátima and we will take you to the historical houses of the 3 little pastors in nearby Aljustrel. Afterwards, we will visit to Mira d’Aire Caves – the biggest of entire Portugal!
On the third day, we will travel to the Monasteries of Batalha and Alcobaça marking the Medieval period in Portugal, and finishing with a trip to Nazaré, where the power of the giant waves coming from the Atlantic Ocean will give you the most satisfying goosebumps.
On the last day, we’ll visit the Knights Templar and the Convent of Christ in Tomar where we will get to know the beautiful and extended history of this medieval castle.
